AROBOND 270
AROBOND 270 is a modified aromatic diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) designed for spray polyurea elastomer and hybrid coating systems. It is commonly used in waterproofing and protective coating applications where fast reactivity and durable elastomeric performance are required.
This Modified MDI prepolymer / aromatic isocyanate is designed for:

AROBOND 270 is light yellow liquid at room temperature with a higher reactivity for high-pressure spray applications. It has a multitude of uses from protective coatings to membranes.
Processing and Handling
AROBOND 270 is moisture sensitive and is important to keep containers tightly sealed and free from moisture. If crystallization occurs at low temperatures, heat the liquid to 70–80°C and agitate thoroughly before use. While heating, avoid localized overheating, wrap in warming blankets or use enclosed ambient temperature to uniformly bring the aromatic binding chemical up to temperature.
AROBOND 270 is to be stored indoors at 15–25°C, protected from frost and moisture. Enerlab’s aromatic binder has a shelf life of 6-months under recommended conditions.
